Trends on 2010

Posted by Deelytz

I had a nice chat with my male friend last night about everything under the sun but I was lost when he started talking about Mopar performance parts that he discovered online, I had to excuse myself and google about it so I can understand what he was talking about. I had to admit, it looks very promising and ideal especially he has a Jeep. Oh aside from these automotive thingies, we also talked about the trends this coming 2010 and as much as we tried hard predicting it was way out of the list we found online.

Mixed Prints
Afraid your ikat will clash with your plaids or stripes will upset your florals? Well, fear not, for this season anything goes. Mix and match your most colorful pieces and let your imagination run free.

Red Hot Lips
There were crimson-stained moues aplenty on the runway. The shocking yet sexy shade screamed old-world style for models everywhere from Dior to Bottega Veneta.

Designer Denim
Blue-jean baby. Broken-in jeans were shown with élan in New York (Ralph Lauren doing it distressed), Milan (D&G mastering the look), and Paris (Stella McCartney showing the fabric in several skirt styles). We’re even seeing acid wash make a return — hello, ’80s.

Nautical Stripes
Get in line with spring’s most linear look: classic stripes. Blue and white are best, but you can pull off the Breton-inspired trend with any color combo.

Classic Chanel

Posted by Deelytz

I’m beginning to love bags. Though I kinda have a list of what to have in my closet because of budget constraints. I know I will only get the chance to have a Chanel if I win the lottery so right now, let me just droll over this pieces while our lottery prize is still cooking up. :D

Nothing beats the Classic.

Charlize for Toms

Posted by Deelytz

The prettiest face in Hollywood I think belongs to Charlize Theron. Well, Keri Russell is the first on my lift just because she’s my favorite but still, I admire Charlize so much. If I have a girl crush, it is her. She has class to go with the face. I watched her once on Oprah and wow, she is one amazing lady. I admire her dedication to her craft and I find her so poised and elegant. So when I read about her designing a very casual footwear brand on In Style, I was so curious and wow, she never failed! Her Toms design is very pretty and classy! I also love the color!

Quoting In Style:

Charlize Theron has teamed up with Toms shoes on a charitable limited-edition shoe for the holidays. Inspired by the African baobab tree, the proceeds from the orange or dark blue vegan canvas slip-on will benefit the Charlize Theron African Outreach Project.

Another great cause from this amazing actress.

Dream Family Destination

Posted by Deelytz

As much as I love the cold weather, I would love my son to experience the sand, the wind and the water. He loves the water. He’s not afraid of it which is I think, it would be a blast to bring him to one of those cancun family vacations I saw online. It will be fun to stay in a Gourmet Inclusive resorts and hotels like that of the Karisma, where the ultimate escape with your family will be a blast! The Azul Beach Hotel on a beautiful stretch of the Bahia Pentempich beach in Puerto Moreles has family friendly amenities that you and your kids will love. Who would have thought of extras like strollers, cribs, baby milk heaters, beach games, coloring books, refrigerators for milk and medicines, and even kid-sized bathrobes. Such a brilliant idea that they don’t just think of the adults but also the kids. I’m sure we will love to go and maybe go back again because going to places so family oriented is the place to be. Vacations are meant for families anyway!

Year-Ender

Posted by Deelytz

Have you been thinking of how your life has been this year? Will you be standing proud come 2010 and can proudly say, I accomplished a lot not just money wise but more on the deeper side of the aspects in your life? I truly believe that every tiny spec in your being, even if you stumble once in a while, as long as you did something good about it after that, solved a few problems otherwise, then you’re all good. Life is not about perfection. It will be boring, if you ask me. It’s all about learning and getting up once you fall. And as a year-ender, I saw this nice doodle.

Yes, there’s 2010 and what ever it is that you regret doing this 2009 or something you are aiming for next year? You have that chance to make a difference and that’s a…

From God. Better thank Him everyday for that chance. :D

Bag at First Sight

Posted by Deelytz

Okay, this is another of those love at first sight thingies. It’s something I’m preventing since I promised myself I will be on a tight budget come 2010. But I have to admit, this white fox is killing me. The size is very me. White? I never use a white bag, it easily gets dirty but it’s something new to my bag collection and it will be very nice to have a white leather bag with the perfect shape I want. Enough said, let me just share the Coach white leather bag I’m drooling off here…

It’s from my friend’s gallery. If you are interested to buy a few nice items from her. Here’s her shop, send her a message.

In Love with Kamiseta

Posted by Deelytz

I was supposed to look for AC filters because we need some at home, we need to replace our filters at home before summer starts early next year but I kept on window shopping online. I’m especially hovering the Kamiseta site in particular. Everyday we pass the North bound of C5 to go home and I see this billboard near Market! Market!. We never get to window shop in the mall when we go out because we always tag along our son who always want to go straight to Timezone but last Sunday we went to Market! Market! early and I went to Kamiseta just to ask about the top and the ring…

I asked, both are already out of stock! How depressing! The saleslady is not quite sure if some stocks will come, I guess I have to visit Kamiseta regularly, just in case. :D

C’mon Camo

Posted by Deelytz

I’ve been organizing and revamping my closet these days. In a few months I will be 33! I need to sort my stuff, get rid of those not so nice clothes and keep they appropriate items for my age. I found a few items that I still love from the past, the thing is I can’t fit to most of the casual clothes I still want to wear, I really need a fat burner so that I can fit in them before they get too old to wear. Anyway, I know, I want to be a little formal and girly when it comes to clothes now that I will be hitting the double 3 soon but I saw this camo pants from Gap that I want to buy so I can have my own camo like my boys…

ossibly our most authentic military-inspired pant, the cargo features a total of 11 pockets, twill accents throughout, and topstitching behind the knees for full-on military style. Soften the look with an easy refined blazer, cuffed legs, and a gorgeous shoe.

Me likey! :D

Nice Wrapping

Posted by Deelytz

I was looking for the perfect gift to give my best friend last week. I want to give her nice floor tiles for her future home but the construction won’t be starting soon, I think and that will be too many and very expensive, the budget will go overboard. I have an amount for it since we are having an exchange gift. My brother accompanied me at Gateway Mall to shop for a nice item and ended up looking inside Rustan’s. Chose the perfect gift and had it wrapped since Rustan’s has free gift wrapping and they wrap items perfectly and my brother and I were amazed of how they did it…

Nice right? What’s great is that the gift wrapping is free of charge. :D

Winter Wonderland

Posted by Deelytz

I so wish we have Winter. Not the too much snow part, just about 5 degrees Celcius coldness enough to make a fashion statement with boots and coats. Since I’m living in a tropical country, the nearest place I can feel winter is in Hong Kong which is only a little less 2 hours flight from Manila, imagine that? Anyway, one of the stores in HK has cheap and great items for winter. Let me share my some of my faves. Not that I will fit into all of them, I know I will be needing slimming pills if I want to do so. Anyway, on with the clothes…
