Go for Gold!

Posted by Deelytz

To buy gold eagle coins or not?!? That is the question! I have been dilly-dallying about this question for months now. We had a great conversation with a friend about investments and United States Gold Bureau came up. He buys all precious metals from the company particularly gold and he has steady income from this investment since then so you have to expect that he has great words for the company and his investment.

Historically the value of gold coins were used as currency itself in most cultures but today, it is more than that. The value of gold can be collected and be invested and their price can be very higher than their face value. But it has and will always be one of the status symbol of power and wealth. You will never go wrong much more of having a reliable company where you can buy precious gold like that of the US Gold Bureau, the very reason why my friend is determined to see us go for gold as well.

Trying on Photography Again

Posted by Deelytz

Sometimes there is a negative side if you want to go back to a hobby. Right now, I’m dusting off my Nikkie again and trying on taking some random shots. I started with some macro shots that I can’t achieve because I’m using my 50mm f1.4 lens which is basically used for portraits. So now, you might have guessed it right, I want a macro lens to use in taking photos of food, objects, etc. on a close up. My husband suggested I try looking for some extension something an “extension tube”, that is placed between the camera and the lens, I might look into that since a macro lens costs way over and I can’t afford one right now. Anyway here are my trying hard shots that are tweaked via PS, which tells me I need to learn to use Adobe Lightroom, I heard it is way better for tweaking photographs.

Meet Muchi, the friendship Kimi Doll that my friend, Jacq gave me.

The pasta I cooked to today

My wedding band and engagement ring

What do you think? I think what I need are these:

  • Learn Lightroom
  • Have a macro lens
  • More practice
  • More inspirations
  • Read more tutorials
  • Have a DSLR upgrade!!!! :D

Who is Salt?

Posted by Deelytz

I am no Angelina Jolie fan but when it comes to action packed movies, I think she is the best female actress to pull it off. After watching the official trailer of the movie, I said to myself, this is my kind of movie, far before I became a mom who aims to download cartoons and child friendly films for my son, I am very determined to watch this in a cinema with my husband who also loves action films. I can’t wait for another movie date!

Synopsis:

As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt’s efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: “Who is Salt?”

SALT – Coming into cinemas this July 28.

Choose Your Investment

Posted by Deelytz

Nowadays with the rise and fall of our economy, who does not need a very wise investment to earn a little bit more than the usual. We have friends who established their own business aside from their day jobs, some have two jobs and others quit their jobs and focused full time with what they think will give them more earnings. As to my opinion, I think all of them are wise choices. It just depends on how you manage everything to make it more successful for you and your family.

A friend of ours suggested investing on a franchise business while two of our other friends said be should just buy gold bullion from the trusted gold company, United States Gold Bureau and sit and relax with all their expert staff helping you out with your investment. I think if my husband and I are to choose an investment, whatever it is, we should just study more about it and think deeply before we investment a large amount of our savings. We will see.

New from COACH

Posted by Deelytz

I haven’t visited Coach in a while. I guess, I have outgrown my loving it. I still love it but not really very in love with it nowadays, I guess you can say my attention to LC gave me a little resting time for Coach but today, I visited their store and I saw items that I would love to have.

New POPPY Storypack XL at $558

A little young looking for my age, but this will be nice for carrying so much stuff since it has so much space and I think this will pump up a nice boring basic black or gray outfit.

New Studded Opt Art Alexandra at $358

I love the color, the little details and the shape of the bag.

New Clover Leather Duffle at $298

I will never miss out a leather bag from Coach. I love the simplicity of this bag, definitely nice for work. Perfect size as well.

TransUnion Lawsuit

Posted by Deelytz

Have you heard about the TransUnion Class Action Lawsuit that was very popular between the years of 1987 to 2000 in the United States which a few of our friends were victimized.TransUnion is a credit reporting company that illegally sold credit information that should have been confidential to target marketing companies in the US.

Thank goodness for the O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath firm that have expert attorneys who have great experience with even the most complex TransUnion claims. The victims are entitled for monetary damages but with too much process, a client needs an expert to get that claims. A few of our friends successfully got what they need with the help of this firm and I hope more victims will receive what they deserve from all the trouble it caused them.

LC Fall Wishlist

Posted by Deelytz

A friend of mine posted the Longchamp Fall Exclusives on Flickr and I love the two colors that she posted.

Graphite Le Pliage Fall Exclusive Limited Edition at $155

Bronze LM Metal Fall Exclusive at $135

I think I am settled with the Medium size but I want to buy a Le Pliage chocolate Large for traveling. My sister doesn’t like the LC style, she thinks it’s ordinary but I told her the versatility of the bags and how it is easy to maintain and she said, “Made sense. It’s a conyo bag for mommies.” A very expensive bag where you can put all your kid’s stuff and still look in style? Well, I think, I will have to agree.

Formal Fashion

Posted by Deelytz

I don’t have a problem when it comes to choosing casual clothes for my husband, I usually get it right when I buy his pants, polo shirts and semi-casual wear but when it comes to his more formal attire, I get a little bit challenged because, I myself is not a very formal-girly-corporate-attire kinda girl so when he asked me to come with him and choose from the mens ties, I got a little confused. There are so much prints printed on a tie, I am not amused at all. So, I told him we just look online and maybe find a few ties that are much nicer than the ones we saw in the mall and lo and behold, I saw a few great finds at Ties-Necktie online store. Look at my favorites…

Great choices right? :D
