Christmas is 2 nights away and we are still looking for some cigar deals that my father wants to give his friends. I swear, men are the worst shoppers! They always do lat minute shopping and it is so stressful not to mention the wrapping of gifts. My husband also told me just 2 days ago that he wants to give gifts to his close friends at work. I was telling him to make a list as early as October and kept on reminding him about it but he never made one and now that Christmas is literally just around the corner, he dropped something like this and it is not funny. I might do some late Christmas shopping before the New Year just for him to bring the gifts when he gets back to work on January. MEN!

I’ve been eyeing the Mulberry Alexa since early this year but I just knew I couldn’t afford a bag with that price tag so I’m just enjoying all the pictures I see celebrities and friends carrying the original. Until I saw an imitation from EGG at Megamall. Actually some of the designs where changed but you can see that it was patterned from the original design…

I’m doing some more shopping this year because. Well, I just don’t want to promise anything anymore but I am setting goals next year and we have 2 big priorities that we want to accomplish next year plus my son is going to school, the nanny will go to college and I am thinking of getting a cheap auto insurance quote for my husband’s old school too. I hope I can have everything set plus I think I will have a major career advancement by next year, with God’s blessings, everything will push through. There is only one thing I’m uncertain of and that I can’t say, it’s too personal for me. Anyway, 2010 has been a great year and a few more days to go then we will be welcoming 2011. I just hope and pray for the best of health and safety to all my love ones and myself for 2011. God be with us all.

I don’t know what it is with the people at work. Even the receipt printer that they need in the admin office, they asked me to purchase it online. I’m an optometrist and this is not in my line of work but since I know that this is an easy thing to do, I say yes all the time and yes, I purchased the printer online for them. It’s just nice that they don’t ask to use my credit card. I’ve done a lot of purchasing for the office and I kinda like doing favors for them. They have been very nice to me, that’s the least thing that I can do for them.

My cousin loves rubber shoes. He particularly adores the Air Jordans. His mom works abroad and asked me to order online for his son who wishes another pair for Christmas. Just how many pairs of rubber shoes are enough and he returned the question by asking me, just how many bags are enough cousin? Wise kid! I had to laugh. He is really witty and wise, I have to say. Every special occasion he had to ask for a pair of Air Jordan and I was really surprised on how many his collection is. He is mighty proud of it and since he is only 18, I get it that it’s the “in” thing. Oh well, he is getting this pair for Christmas…

I think it is really cute and the color is nice for Christmas.

Today I had so many errands to do. A couple are for my husband who asked me to buy a couple of small items for his colleagues at work, if he only gave me more time, I would have prepared something special for them but since it’s a rush and the budget is really limited, I had to buy mugs with covers from the mall plus buy him 2 inkjet printers that they need at work. I have no clue what I was purchasing, good thing he had it written on a paper and all the specs and even the brand is there. I was telling him to just order online if he can’t go with me but he stressed firmly that he needs it today but he has tons of work before their Christmas party starts and since I have nothing to do at work, I can go out earlier for break time. This is also the reason why I bought a new bag for myself. I couldn’t resist the bag and since it’s Christmas, I bought one for myself. It’s cheap and it deserves a separate post.

My Aunt has a motel business in Illinois and I was chatting with her this morning. She mentioned about their 2 lawn mower engines that have problems and they couldn’t maintain the big grounds they have in front and at the back of their motel because of that. I am dreaming of a Macbook Unibody right now. Last year, I wished for iphone and I got my wish and until now I’m still enjoying the mobile phone. My old Macbook is making some noises that scares me, I’ve been using this old laptop for quite some time now and my husband bought it as a second hand and I don’t think I can use this quite longer, I am sure it needs repair already. Anyway, here is the Unibody that I want to get, I hope an angel can help me…

Since I am always online, a friend asked me to compare term life insurance quotes because she and her husband are planning to get a new one next year. I think with the new year comes so much planning and thinking of the future. Some plans are done but most of the time others remain planned. Like them, my husband and I are doing a lot of planning and hopefully more will be done. A really nice blessing was given to me this week and I am really glad about it.
