My husband brothers are both working abroad and both of them are coming home this year. The eldest sibling will be coming around first week of February while the other sibling will be coming around March so we are definitely busy around those months plus I have a party to organize. YIKES! My husband is asking me to look for some items we can ask his brother to buy for us and I was drawn to the Best Buy site which has everything. I told him, he has to go and visit the site if he wants anything because frankly, I have no idea what to buy from there except for women stuff that of course he is not interested with.

I went to  tradeshow last week and saw some nice tradeshow giveaways that got me thinking about my son’s party giveaways for March. I am not busy planning for his party which is also a slash of my birthday celebration since we’ll both celebrate our birthday on the same month. I talked to my mom and she will help me with the caterer, she knows the owner so I will get a discount, then I will definitely get a party host/clown that will entertain the kids with some games as well and that’s it, if the budget will not exceed, I will probably get an ice cream cart for the kids and the kids at heart, we’ll see. I told my mom about the loots and she is thinking of us coming by to Divisoria for some shopping treat since she wants to visit the place and wants to buy a couple of stuff but doesn’t have anybody to come with her and since I have a reason to go there, she wants to tag along. I might consider, I will have to ask a friend for some tips.

A cousin in the US is thinking of taking up a course in Beauty once she enters College. My aunt is not against it though my Uncle wants her to take up something in the field of Medicine. Anyway, whatever she wants, I’m sure they will support 100%. She is thinking of studying at Regency Beauty Institute, a fast growing institute for beauty and excellence. The school started in Minneapolis and there are more branches all around the state. My cousin is excited with the fact that they let their students practice what they learned in classrooms in a real salon set up with real clients even before they graduate which is really cool because they can experience the real world and can build a strong foundation of training through that. I know we have an old school car but when I came across estatecarinsure.com I realized that even if we have an old car we should not neglect it’s insurance especially that my husband considers it as his toy car. It is very precious to him and is even planning to make it really pimped out for our son when he grows up, more like an heirloom. I find it really nice and thoughtful which made me think more about having it insured. These days everything should be planned including purchasing a car. It will be an added expense but at least we don’t have to worry about it. I told my husband to visit the site as well and think about it. We can do it this year, after all the papers are ready.

A friend commented about our common friend to stop giving unsolicited advices to me when I don’t ask for it but to tell you honestly, since that common friend is a close friend of mine? I really don’t mind and I don’t find her words very offensive. It’s just maybe how she delivered the statement made my friend reacted about it and I find it really sweet actually that she got offended for me. But I’m just thankful I have friends like them. Anyway, that concerned friend suggested Epiduo for my face and apparently, I need to still read epiduo review before I take her advice. Epiduo is actually a new prescription that claims to be very effective in fighting zits and I think I will consider but after I read the reviews. Today, thought there are many medications that are coming out that claim to be very effective we should still look into everything before using it because there can be side effects as well.

… AGAIN! And I vow to do that every week. 2011 is the year of saving money and keeping myself fit for myself and my family. I just hope I can convince my husband to come along every Tuesdays and Thursdays. His tummy is growing big already and in no time he will be wishing for the best fat burners in town. He seldom listens to my advices, thinking that I’m just being pushy but since he is just a year younger than me, he will also be 40 soon and we need to shape up. Yesterday, I came to the gym and was convincing him to come along but he just drove me there and picked me up after. It’s just an hour of workout I hope he won’t get too lazy tomorrow to tag along. It will never be of any use if I am healthy and he is not, because we are a couple and we should do this together as well.

I was looking at myself in the mirror last night while putting on another new skin care regimen and I felt so depressed just by touching my face. I am really praying for a very effective acne treatment that will really do wonders on my face. What are my wishes? Well, aside from my pimples to stop from showing, I also want my dark spots to at least lighten and my freckles not to multiply anymore. I’m turning 34 and I kinda miss my face last August where, well my dark spots are still there and my freckles as well but it was clean from red big pimples, more of acne, I think and I find myself pleasing to the eyes than today. I miss my hair as well. I cut it really short after it became dry and dull. I need to shape up and take care of my skin, 34 is not far from 40. Yikes!

My son will be celebrating his 4th birthday soon and I am planning to throw a simple party at home but unlike last year, I am taking extra effort in preparing for this year. As early as now I am telling my husband that he is tasked to print our son’s invites. He was suggesting the store which did some post card printing for them but I am on a very tight budget and since the guests will not be too many, so are the invites. I’m actually looking for invites that I can get ideas from, since I have no idea what is nice for a car themed party invitations and I saw some pretty cute ones on Ebay.

My skills will definitely be tested.
