The Face Shop BB Cream

Posted by Deelytz

I am loving one product today, this product is not the full coverage so for my skin, I think I need the full coverage so after finishing this bottle I will definitely get the full coverage BB cream from FaceShop. I’m sure I will love it even more because this natural coverage is just so amazing already.

FS BB Cream

So what is BB Cream?

BB Cream or Blemish Balm Cream is among Asia’s hottest beauty products right now. Where did it come from and how did it become so popular?

It is said that the formula comes from Germany where dermatologists prescribe it to heal laser skin surgery because it has soothing and skin-regenerating properties. Famous South Korean actresses then began using it for beauty purposes and since Asian dramas are huge all over, a craze was born. The trend that started in Korea first spread to Japan then to South East Asia and is now quickly making its way to Europe and the USA.

Essentially, BB Cream is very similar to tinted moisturizer, the only difference being that BB Cream contains skin healing and turnover properties, so it’s really good for people who have acne prone or sensitive skin. Most BB Creams have anti-aging ingredients in their formulas so people young and old use it. Sometimes, BB Cream has SPF and Whitening properties too. BB Creams generally apply sheer to medium to your skin, so it’s really usable as a makeup base. Best of all, because of it’s healing properties, with consistent and proper use of BB Cream, it is claimed that it will heal and fade away acne scars and will improve the texture of your skin.

So far, I am using the BB cream for a week now and no breakouts happening. I have an acne prone skin and as much as I want to put my no make up face here, I don’t think I want that because my face is still healing from the acne and I am currently into medications prescribed by my dermatologist to cure my acne and lighten my dark spots but so far, the BB cream lightens my dark spots and making my face appear more even. Anyway this is my face with BB cream…

Me with BB Cream On

and I guarantee you that I don’t look so even like this without my BB Cream on. :D

Memories in Photos

Posted by Deelytz

My son recently had his birthday party. It was a simple party with just close friends and some relatives and why did I get a photographer to take pictures? I was first informed that my brother will be out of town for a company outing and he always takes pictures during my son’s party when my husband and I are busy with the guests and since he can’t possible take over, I’ve decided to just get a photographer. Luckily, my best friend knows someone who was willing to help us out. I actually admire his photographs long before I met him (he was my entourage partner during my best friend’s wedding), he was the one who took the pre-nup photos of my best friend and her husband and I really liked his works. He took great photos of my son during his party and I actually have favorites that I want in a separate personalized picture frame that we can display in our future homes. These are some of the faves…

Photos for me are very important because more than anything it is way better than videos and I can include it in my digital scrapbooking to make it even more personalized that can last for so many generations. Like my mom who keeps so many photos, we have photographs of my grandparents who are already gone that even my son can see when he is grown up.

I’m Proud of My Hardwork

Posted by Deelytz

My husband and I recently had our blood tests and the results showed that he has high levels of cholesterol, triglycerides, uric acid and VLDL while I have high cholesterol level which prompted us to eat healthy. I even read articles from sites like http://www.weightlosspillsthatwork.org to just freshen my knowledge about diet and other related stuff. Our diet took a 360 degrees turn. I changed our eating habits and planned our meals. Our diet plan usually has the following:

Breakfast:

  • Since my husband has uric acid levels, we usually have oatmeal just 3 times a week, 1 regular bowl of oatmeal that we share, we eat it with fruits like bananas or apples and then water, OR
  • 0% Fat, Flavored Yogurt from Nestle together with fruits and a glass of non fat milk, OR
  • 1 piece whole wheat bread with little of cheese spread then lots of fruits and water.

Snacks:

  • We bought the Skyflakes Fit, Oat Fiber Crackers which we bring to work. I usually eat that then take water or Lipton Green Tea with muscovado sugar, OR
  • I pack fruits for us, usually its banana or an apple or grapes.

Lunch:

  • Everything in proportion, I usually prepare our food in the morning. No fried, uses only Olive Oil, usually it’s fish or chicken with veggies and 1/2 cup of brown rice, OR
  • If I wasn’t able to prepare anything, we just buy food in the canteen but we bring our own brown rice.

Dinner:

  • If we get to eat a little over the proportion we shad during lunch, we usually just have bread and fruits at night or oatmeal, OR
  • If we are really hungry, I usually cook our food apart from the food the rest of my family will have because we don’t eat fried, oily and fatty foods.

Before Sleeping:

  • We usually have fruits and water.

Exercise:

  • The Husband: Bikes everyday, 5 days a week for 30 minutes in a stationary bike at home.
  • Me: I brisk walk for 55 minutes and run for 5 minutes, twice a week in the gym using a treadmill.

I am proud to say that I lost 4 pounds already in a span of 2 1/2 weeks and I plan to continue this diet and exercise until I become old. I dunno about my husband but I want him to maintain the phase he is also doing. Anyway, here is my before and after, not too much difference but I hope to have my ideal weight of 105 lbs on December with all my blood results normal as well!

Before:

Sinong mas macho?

Taken early last year, hiding behind my husband, being so self conscious.

Today:

120 lbs. and back to small size and my 25 waist line.

Disclaimer: I am not bragging and being vain about this, I just want to inspire others that we can live healthy and the benefits of eating healthy is looking great, it’s like hitting 2 birds with 1 stone. Good luck to all of us!

Gadget to Have

Posted by Deelytz

I am still dreaming of having a new laptop! Mine is so worn out, I bought it pre-owned and when I look at it, it just looks too worn and over used. My husband is telling me to maybe consider of getting a custom laptop and I am seriously considering it though I am a avid fan of a certain brand, I can have a custom made especially for me! That is so special isn’t it? But what do I need get? What specifications do fit me? Well here are the key items of how my activities go online:

  • I do scrap a lot so I need a very big space in the drive so I can save some stuff in my laptop if I get too lazy to connect my EHD.
  • I also do photography so a really nice resolution of the screen will be really great in editing photos.
  • I use, Photoshop and Lightroom and sometimes, my laptop hangs when I open the two applications so a laptop that won’t do that is what I really need.
  • I surf and blog all the time too so I need a fast performing laptop that will do that.
  • My son also watches movies online, so great sound and high resolution are nice.

That’s about it, I guess. I will have to come back to this post once my husband decided on giving me one customized laptop just for me! :D

My Red Haute

RED

My New Red Lipstick

My Dad went to the United States for a short vacation. He needed to use his Visa before it expires and so he stayed with his sister in South Pasadena and had a grand time going to the casinos and shopping. He brought me and eyeliner which I really love plus a red lipstick as to my request. I dunno if I made the right decision of getting the Lancome Red Haute instead of the MAC Russian Red but still red lips make me really conscious, I’m not quite sure if it looks good on me. Anyway the reason why I got the Red Haute is that Michelle Phan totally sell it to me. Damn why does it looked so nice on her? Here’s her video. The swatch looks like this.

Red Haute

I can’t even take a picture of me wearing it. :(

Primping the Garage

Posted by Deelytz

My parents are primping the garage, they installed a very posh looking roof for the cars and this is also nice for parties, actually just in time for the party that we will be having for my son this March 26. My dad was even thinking of an automatic garage door opener but this one is out of their budget so they might have it some other time. That will be too cool, we always manually open the door and this can be time consuming. Come out from the car and come in the house to open the gates and then go inside the car to park it in the garage, if we have an garage opener it will be a treat. Anyway here is the garage, during the construction, I haven’t taken a pic of the finished garage but this one is almost done…

My Skin

Posted by Deelytz

Just last Saturday I posted this on Intagram (an iphone app for uploading photos)

Kagastusan na naman! For the sake of beauty!

This was taken in one of the Belo Medical Clinics here. Yes, I was about to have my facial which was very long overdue. The dermatologist told me to have facial twice a month but I missed the February facials and just scheduled first week of March. Since I find it really pricey to have facial twice a month, I planned on scheduling it every month starting this month. Now, I am prohibited to expose my face to too much sunlight and if only I can sport one of these nice Fedora Hats when I go out, I will look fab! But I get too self conscious when I wear a hat.

Vanishing Acts

Posted by Deelytz

I am currently reading this…

I hope this is a nice story.

I went to the bookstore to find a particular book but to my dismay it was out of stock so I grabbed Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult.

Synopsis:

Delia Hopkins has led a charmed life. Raised in rural New Hampshire by her widowed father, Andrew, she now has a young daughter, a handsome fiancé, and her own search-and-rescue bloodhound, which she uses to find missing persons. But as she plans her wedding, she is plagued by flashbacks of a life she can’t recall. And when a policemen arrives to disclose a truth that will upend the world as she knows it, Delia must search through these memories – even when they have the potential to devastate her life, and the lives of those she loves most. Vanishing Acts is a book about the nature and power of memory; about what happens when the past we have been running from catches up to us… and what happens when the memory we thought had vanished returns as a threat.

As much as I want to read light storyline. I heard a lot of great feedback about Jodi Picoult. I just hope this book will not be too heavy for my taste.

Hectic Monday Morning

Posted by Deelytz

I had to wake up earlier than my usual wake up call for work. We are tasked to go early for some activities in the camp and while I wanted to sleep in a little more, I lifted my butt as hard as I could to go in the shower. My body was aching from the busy activities I had this weekend, I really need to look for a massage therapy program online that really works because the simple home service just doesn’t work for me and going to a nearby spa can be very expensive. Anyway, I will have to ask my husband to maybe massage my back later tonight just for temporary remedy. So, after the early activity this morning, which we have to wear this shirt by the way…

Our shirt for today's activity. Sana totoo nga! :)

The message is very timely by the way.

I came back to my post to attend to some patients and had late lunch because I needed to manually count the number of patients we had during 2010. Bummer! I sure hope the bosses will plan on making our system computerized because this record system we are using is so jurassic already. I had to take a nap during lunch break because my head was throbbing and thank goodness I feel better now. I hope the afternoon will bot be too hectic. Wish me luck!

Buy and Sell Cars at Garage del Parco

Posted by Deelytz

My dad’s friend has a business of buying and selling cars. We, the husband and I, want a similar business that deals with automobiles and he says it is not a very easy job contrary to what people may think. It is hard to keep up plus making your business last for years, luckily he is doing okay. He did a lot of research about it, particularly in vendita auto usate and he learned so much with the car industry there. He actually mentioned about Garage Del Parco and the wide array of auto usate milano they have in the shop and how he dreams of having a similar successful business like that. He wants his business to be run by his son someday and maybe branch out if possible. But of course the Garage Del Parco business is not an overnight success. Garage Del Parco has been in the buy and sell auto business for almost 33 years! Founded by Aldo Anthony Artuso, a very stable business that is passed from father to son. A business that runs from efficiency, thoroughness and competence, the business has made so much clients trust them already making them number 1 in the business. Garage Del Parco is actually run by family so you will be assured that the cars are well taken cared of, they are all checked once they come in the shop and they are all guaranteed. Having a hard time selling your car so you can buy a car from Garage Del Parco? Well worry no more because they accept trade ins. Plus there are so many cars to choose from and they even have compro auto usate. If given a chance Garage Del Parco is a very nice inspiration for an auto car business, I hope we can have one like theirs.
