It’s Julia Once Again

Posted by Deelytz

Who does not love Julia Roberts? I’ve been a fan since Pretty Woman. I was in high school back then and with my natural curly hair, I always dream to have those curly locks like hers. But now that I am 33, I went beyond the hair and admired who she is as a person, a mother and an actress. I have to admit, I haven’t finished the book that my best friend gave me and I might as well wait for her movie, since she has a version of the book, Eat Pray Love. Lazy me! But I bet this movie is a must see, I love looking at the steal photos…

Is it just me as her biggest fan or am I right when I think that she hasn’t aged a bit?!?

Who is Salt?

Posted by Deelytz

I am no Angelina Jolie fan but when it comes to action packed movies, I think she is the best female actress to pull it off. After watching the official trailer of the movie, I said to myself, this is my kind of movie, far before I became a mom who aims to download cartoons and child friendly films for my son, I am very determined to watch this in a cinema with my husband who also loves action films. I can’t wait for another movie date!

Synopsis:

As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt’s efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: “Who is Salt?”

SALT - Coming into cinemas this July 28.

My Eclipse Experience

Posted by Deelytz

It was a spur of the moment thing. We planned to watch on a weekend but our schedule didn’t permit us so when I saw a chance I asked my husband if we can watch it. He told me to check Greenbelt’s sched and Eastwood as well but we chose to go to Eastwood because it’s closer to our workplace. We only had 2 choices, watch the 6:40pm at Ultra 7 or the 7:30 screening in a regular cinema. Hubby wants to try Ultra 7, I want to try My Thai Kitchen instead then watch at Cinema 6 but my husband won. So off we spent more with just the bottomless soda and popcorn for dinner. We bought tickets at 6pm and killed time separately…

Hubby spent time here…

and while waiting for him I sat outside Timezone reading this…

and by exactly 6:40, we went inside…

I wasn’t able to take pictures because it’s not allowed but my goodness they have a butler. Just raise your hand and a butler comes to you to take your orders of popcorn and drinks. Popcorn was of course too salty because I want the Barbecue flavor but what I enjoyed the most was this…

Lazy boys! They’re too comfy, I had to sit straight because I might doze off while watching some of the boring scenes of the movie. But Edward is still hot for me and I still enjoyed Eclipse even if this time I had to watch it with my boy instead of my Twilight girls!

It will take us a while before we watch another movie again. This movie date was so expensive for me and definitely not worth it for regular dates. It’s nice we have to go there watching Eclipse or I will be complaining to hubby for the expenses. HAHAHA. ;)

New Moon Hangover

Posted by Deelytz

My Daddy heard about the electronic cigarette and he wants to give it as a Christmas gift to one of his bosses who loves cigarettes but I must admit, I can’t even concentrate on browsing about it online as per his favor because all I’m searching are steal shots from the New Moon movie. I had a blast last Friday, I watched it with some of my online friends and I was actually glad I saw it with them. I shared the same interest, well that is of drooling and ogling over Edward and a little tiny bit over Jacob as well. It’s been 2 days after that movie date but I can’t still get over the movie. I want to watch it again on the big screen but if I won’t have the chance I will definitely read the book. Yes, I’m one of the few late bloomers when it comes to reading the saga. :D

Team Edward or Team Jacob? Honestly? I was a bit confused for a minute, okay maybe for almost the whole movie but after that will you be marry me line… I knew in my heart, it will always be the cold one! I hate summer anyway! HAHA. Erte! :P

Eclipse Countdown

Posted by Deelytz

Before flooding this blog about New Moon, let me just share with you what I found online…

I know Twilight fans like me are counting down the days until the movie Eclipse is shown. I haven’t read the book and according to my friends, this is the best book from the saga and yes, I just can’t wait until we all go again together watching Eclipse.

The Time Traveler’s Wife

Posted by Deelytz

I need to get a good book, I haven’t read a book in ages. I miss the days when I can sit in a corner and just read for hours. I used to read teeny bopper pocketbooks though, I used to love Sweet Dreams then I stopped from reading and went on to just collecting magazines. I used to love reading thick pocketbooks when I was still single and when I didn’t know about blogging just yet. I would borrow some Nick Sparks novels or some other books that I don’t even remember the titles anymore. The Time Traveler’s Wife is making a fuss around my online friends lately and tonight while my best friend and her hubby are waiting for the last full show at Powerplant and YMed me that she already finished reading the book and is now going to watch the movie, I knew I had to read a book and this might be it.

A Chicago librarian suffers from a rare genetic disorder that sends him hurtling through time whenever he is under extreme duress; despite the fact that he vanishes at inordinately frequent and lengthy intervals, he attempts to build a stable future with the beautiful young heiress he loves. Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams star in this dramatic fantasy, which is directed by Robert Schwentke and based on the best-selling book by author Audrey Niffenegger.

Interesting isn’t it? Hmmm… I think I’m heading off to Fully Booked tomorrow!

She’s on Duty

Posted by Deelytz

I thought of sharing here great movies I’ve seen, since it’s all about me blog, let me share one of my fave past times, watching movies… Here’s my first.

We saw another Korean movie last night. I had fun watching it because 1st, Gong Yoo was in the movie… 2nd, it was really funny… 3rd, it has a good story plot. I hate drama movies, I don’t like the heavy feeling when you have to cry and spend almost 2 hours only to have a heavy heart in the end. Last night, just like the other nice movies I’ve seen in the past, I had a smile on my face. Seeing Gong Yoo on screen is always a treat, a nice story is just a bonus. Did you get to watch Kim Sam Soon? The comedy koreanovela on television, she is the star character in She’s on Duty and I find her really funny plus she and Gong Yoo have chemistry, they look really nice together even if the movie is also an action movie.

Just an eye candy. :D

Rating: 9/10 (just because)

For Viewing: Higly Recommended (if you are up for Korean movies)
