My Eclipse Experience

Posted by Deelytz

It was a spur of the moment thing. We planned to watch on a weekend but our schedule didn’t permit us so when I saw a chance I asked my husband if we can watch it. He told me to check Greenbelt’s sched and Eastwood as well but we chose to go to Eastwood because it’s closer to our workplace. We only had 2 choices, watch the 6:40pm at Ultra 7 or the 7:30 screening in a regular cinema. Hubby wants to try Ultra 7, I want to try My Thai Kitchen instead then watch at Cinema 6 but my husband won. So off we spent more with just the bottomless soda and popcorn for dinner. We bought tickets at 6pm and killed time separately…

Hubby spent time here…

and while waiting for him I sat outside Timezone reading this…

and by exactly 6:40, we went inside…

I wasn’t able to take pictures because it’s not allowed but my goodness they have a butler. Just raise your hand and a butler comes to you to take your orders of popcorn and drinks. Popcorn was of course too salty because I want the Barbecue flavor but what I enjoyed the most was this…

Lazy boys! They’re too comfy, I had to sit straight because I might doze off while watching some of the boring scenes of the movie. But Edward is still hot for me and I still enjoyed Eclipse even if this time I had to watch it with my boy instead of my Twilight girls!

It will take us a while before we watch another movie again. This movie date was so expensive for me and definitely not worth it for regular dates. It’s nice we have to go there watching Eclipse or I will be complaining to hubby for the expenses. HAHAHA. ;)

Ultra 7 on VDay

Posted by Deelytz

Today, watching a movie in a theater is already considered as special date for me and my husband. We used to watch movies all the time when we were still dating but when we had our son, we rarely watch in a theater. So we’ve decided to get the feel of seating on a nice home theater seating while eating endless buckets of popcorn and sipping our favorite sodas on Valentine’s Day. We are watching a movie inside this 60-seater cinema…

Ultra 7 in Eastwood Libis…

Quote from Azrael’s Merryland Blog post:

The good thing in Ultra 7 Cinema is that the price of P400 for 1 person is entitled to have an unlimited pop corns and drinks. They have 2 flavors of pop corns, cheese and barbeque.

And if you want to refill your food and drinks, all you have to do is raise your hand and a butler will approach you in your seat.

After which we are planning a simple dinner in a restaurant in Eastwood as well. A rush date on a Friday night before we head home to our little angel. :D

Some Serious Techie Shopping

Posted by Deelytz

We are heading to Greenhills today. My husband asked me to help him look for a reliable barcode scanner, his boss asked him to look for their office. One of their scanners conked out just in the middle of work yesterday and since my husband is their IT, they rely on his skills in looking for a replacement because they couldn’t contact their previous supplier. He will be buying ink jet for their printers as well so this will be my chance to look for a possible gift for him on Valentine’s Day. I hope I can see something inexpensive but something special for my techie guy!

Valentine’s Day is Just Around the Corner

Posted by Deelytz

It’s been ages since we celebrated Valentine’s Day so I want to give my husband a little something something for the special day. If only I have the moolah, a ps3 will be very nice. I know he wants one for the longest time but he can’t buy one since a laptop became his priority for his work. Now, I’m in a little dilemma of what to give him that will not damage my pocket so much. The date this coming Friday will be on him already so I want to hand him something special that will make him smile. He loves gadgets and I have no idea which one is cheap inexpensive. LOL. :D

Going Formal

Posted by Deelytz

My husband might be attending a formal this month. The problem is that he doesn’t have any tuxedo jackets. They are required to wear a tux and I think his pants will do it’s just that he doesn’t have a tuxedo jacket to go with it so we will need to look for that. Another spending, I can see. Too bad the attire for men only requires a tuxedo, I wonder why. I hope my husband will be comfortable in wearing something very formal, I know he’s a very casual guy. The formal hubby I’ve seen was during our wedding and that’s it. :D

The Husband has Blog

Posted by Deelytz

… as if my online friends doesn’t know. As much as he wanted to write personal posts there, he feels that life (meaning work) has been a drag lately and that composing long boring stories about it will just bore his readers some more. He asked me to surf and surf and look for nice finds online that he can post once in a while there. I even found something about a barcode scanner that they use at work that he is planning to post one of these days. He is actually thinking of maybe not maintaining the blog anymore but he told me that it’s nice to write once in a while, he finds it a nice outlet too. I sure hope he doesn’t stop. I like it that we have something in common online, blogging. So where is the hubby’s blog link? I can’t give it away here, he’s just shy to let me.

Airsoft Thingie

Posted by Deelytz

I can’t believe my husband had me browsing airsoft rifle for him and his friends at work. He was looking at ZephyrAirsoft.com and I can’t believe how many Airsoft and Airgun / BB Gun Gear there are in the market and I was surprised that they are affordable. My husband is eyeing a few things though I wish he sticks to just mountain biking as his hobby but he is putting much interest in this it’s driving me nuts! He wants me to compare 2 rifles and he asked me for comments and suggestions. What do I know? I have no interest in owning one and I never had interest of learning to hold a gun even if I grew up in a military environment. He is thinking whether to get an entry level type of machine (as I call it) or maybe get a more advanced rifle. I say he gets the entry level and the cheapest, I don;t want him spending on something he’s just going to try. What do you think?

September Boy

Posted by Deelytz

He is a Virgo, I think he’s one amazing guy, very mabait though some flaws here and there, I still think he’s one of the few gentlemen left on Earth.

My husband is celebrating his 31st birthday this September and I am running out of ideas of what to give him, last year, I think I gave him an ipod that he loves from all the ipods I browsed online. Giving him a gadget is hard nowadays since we are saving for a vacation next year but still I want to give him something he can open on his special day no matter how cheap it is, it’s the thought that counts anyway. He actually told me no more gifts since he bought a new bike frame and just asked me to cook for him, I have yet to list the menu since we are on a tight budget. I suggested a date too, we’ll see if we can leave the boy for hours. I took 2 days leave already, his birthday is on the 3rd and it’s a Thursday so I also took the next day off so I can just spend the long weekend with the birthday celebrant and our son. He told me he’s thinking of us watching at iMax. I don’t want to expect if this will push through, because as we all know plans can change up to the last minute.
