HDTV in the Bedroom

Posted by Deelytz

I am thinking of buying a similar HDTV like this one…

Though we are not planning to buy a really big television, we love the sleek design of a Samsung HDTV that is very proper in a small bedroom like ours. Our son will soon be going to school so the fear of his nanny just using the television when we are at work will be gone so we can enjoy hooking it up with our laptop and working using the television and of course enjoy watching wonderful movies on it. We are planning to buy a 24″ tv, I hope it will push through early next year.

iPhone Update

Posted by Deelytz

My iPhone dropped twice already and though it is still working fine, thank goodness, I sometimes think that maybe I should get an iphone insurance just to be sure. I’m still paying the installment monthly and my husband reminded me that I should take care of it but a son who loves to play with my phone every so often, I think it is very advisable to get insured. Still a few more months to go and I will have 2,000 bucks off my budget for the fee.

Hubby has been wanting it for so long and we always delay the buying because for one, I don’t want my son to be left with the tv unsupervised by my husband or me. But my son is going to school soon so I’m taking it into consideration.

Features:
Plug & Play: DDC 2B
Multimedia Speakers: 3 W x 2 ch (Dolby Digital Plus, SRS trusurround HD)
Optional Accessories: remote controller, HDMI cable
Special Features: built-in DTV (ATSC) tuner
Sound: Dolby Digital Plus, SRS Trusurround HD
optical digital sound (SPDIF), video (CVBS), component, HDMI (v1.3), supporting 1080P

I really don’t have any idea of what I posted above but Hubby said they are great features for an lcd monitor. LOL. :D

Losing It

Posted by Deelytz

I’m addicted to the Lose It iPhone app and I think this is a good thing because I can track my diet better. I know how much I’m taking and I have 1326 calorie budget a day. Not so much if you ask me but then I gain I want to lose at least 1 pound per week but so far, I’m always over the budget until yesterday when I started exercising again after 2 months of hybernation. HAHA. Well, for those who are not familiar with the application this is how it looks like well at least some of it…

This is where you log your food intake and your exercise to see how much more calorie budget you have for the day…

This is the graph look of your calorie budget…

I hope to keep this up. My aim is to lose 10 pounds for a year. HAHA. Yeah I loev to eat and 10 lbs is still hard.

Some Serious Techie Shopping

Posted by Deelytz

We are heading to Greenhills today. My husband asked me to help him look for a reliable barcode scanner, his boss asked him to look for their office. One of their scanners conked out just in the middle of work yesterday and since my husband is their IT, they rely on his skills in looking for a replacement because they couldn’t contact their previous supplier. He will be buying ink jet for their printers as well so this will be my chance to look for a possible gift for him on Valentine’s Day. I hope I can see something inexpensive but something special for my techie guy!

iPod Shuffle

Posted by Deelytz

It’s so cute. I actually want one to use every time I go for a spin. Watching television in the gym sometimes bores me. When I hit the treadmill, the television is usually turned on but sometimes I don’t like what’s on it, I get distracted. And now that I’m assigned to a new hospital and will hit a new gym every Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have no idea if they have television so as not to get bored. My iPhone is too heavy to carry on a treadmill. I wonder how much is it? I want either the pink or this blue in the picture.

New Notebook

Posted by Deelytz

I am thinking a new laptop. Mine is a bit old already and I’m feeling pains when I use it. A friend told me it might be Carpel Tunnel Syndrome that even scared me more. The husband suggested buying a Sony Vaio, though I haven’t decided yet, I would want to keep my options open and try new brands. Anyway, the Sony looks promising…

I want the white one actually. I have to more about this laptop before I take the plunge. I’m so used to my laptop, I’m not sure if I get used to a new brand. We’ll see. ;)
