I always blog about things here, vacation and such and I don’t talk about health that much. At 32, frankly I have aches in body that I already feel once in a while. Sometimes I get worried about it. I know I need to diet and needs to get back into shape by exercising. But sometimes my lifestyle is not suited to much needed activities plus I have vertigo which made me stop playing badminton, which I played regularly before.

I had my blood sugar level taken today. I am a bit watchful when it comes to my sugar and blood pressure since soem of my relaties died from it. So yes, it’s actually in my genes, whether I like it or not. So I went in line and waited for my turn for that pinch and that drop of blood taken to see my level and thank God my level is 94 which is still normal. Normal blood sugar is between 80-120. Hopefully with my dieting, I will make it a little more. Maybe around 90 will be my ideal blood sugar. Health is wealth.

My parents have been drinking ensure nowadays. They are actually using the powdered one in big cans. They never go out of the grocery store without it. They love vanilla but they also buy chocolate once in a while. As early as today, my Dad informed us that we will be goign to Crowne Plaza Ortigas again for a buffet lunch for Mother’s Day. We were actually so excited to experience that again since lunch there is fab! We had a great experience last time we went there for the first time. Our dad took us and was raving about it. 1000+ per head is I think okay since it’s situated in a hotel plus the food is great. I especially love their Indian section and oh my the oysters of course! I am lookign forward to going here on Mother’s Day!

Not the Easter Bunny nor the Easter Eggs but He, Only Jesus is the truest meaning of Easter!!!

I must admit, I never sacrificed too much for the past 3 years, I have a toddler who’s 2, our home during the Holy Week was still noisy and jolly because of our makukulit na kiddos at home and I actually never felt it’s Lenten Season until I turned on the television. I used to participate in every activity in our Church, from the Washing of the Feet, Visita Iglesia, Seven Last Words, Veneration of the Cross to the Procession and the Blessing of the Fire and the Easter Mass on A Saturday Night. Today, we only participated with the Washing of the Feet Eucharistic Mass with teh Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and my son got so rowdy in the middle of the mass because of heat (seemed like the A/C was off even if it was on because of too much people inside the Church). I’m no religious person, I do pray and never miss a Sunday mass unless I’m sick but nothing beats the fact that Jesus has truly Risen and I thank Him for continuously being the source of everything for us. Our Guidance and Our Hope. I love you Jesus and thank you for everything even if I haven’t been the perfect daughter to You, You have always been good to me.
