Louis Vuitton. I Want. Dream On.

Posted by Deelytz

I love bags but I don’t really adore them as I adore watches. But of course, I’m still a woman and as a woman I dream of having my own expensive bags. I don’t want them, I have no plans of tearing my bank account just to have one, I’m not that desperate but this is my shopping blog and I can window shop any time I want so now we are shopping at Louis Vuitton. If I have extra thousands of dollars I will of course take these pretties off their racks and into my closet…

Neverfull GM worth $750

Duomo worth $1,520

Speedy 30 worth $690

See the prices? So yes, I will continue to dream on. :D

Going Bananas for Banana Rep

Posted by Deelytz

I love Banana Republic style. I find it classy and very basic, something that I can possible wear because basically, it’s not over powering and so eye catching yet very posh. Have you visited their latest collection? I just did and saw some gorgeous items on their online racks…

Love the overall look!

Definitely something you can wear in a tropical country during cold weather.

Very classic and I love the color too.

Lovely black.

I wish I can stumble upon items on clearance when I get to US in the future because right now all I can do is drool, they are a little pricey for me. :D

Find Great Dining in London

Posted by Deelytz

I love traveling and what makes it more exciting when you travel is the food. Food and travel should always be together. You should explore everything and that includes the popular food in every place you go to. Restaurants in every place especially those that are new to you should be tried or else your trip will be worthless. I always wanted to go to London, I know traveling to UK places will be very expensive but I still dream of it because I know someday, I will be going there. Have you ever gone to a place where you almost got lost for food? My husband and I had an experience in Hong Kong during our honeymoon. There was bird’s flu then so we were really scared to try chicken or duck so we went around the city for almost 2 hours just to look for a descent place to have dinner since we don’t want eating in a fastfood.

If we only knew about QYPE then maybe we didn’t have to suffer from hunger going around Nathan Road in Hong Kong. So you bet, I will definitely have that bookmarked for future trips especially when looking for the popular, posh list of Restaurants London. I heard you should try French cuisine when you’re in London. Wines are highly recommended. But of course, a friend who has been to London also told me to bookmark the Pubs London list so I can go out and have fun during the night with my husband. It’s not everyday you get to experience a night out in London right? I was browsing the site and there are so much to discover in every place, not just about food but the places you can go to while you are on a trip to a certain place. I love this new discovery and all travelers should know about a great site like QYPE.

Go for Gold

Posted by Deelytz

I have been looking for ways to earn extra money. In times of the trying times in our economy we should think of intelligent ways to earn extra for ourselves and our family. My husband mentioned about investing in gold. I am skeptic at first but when I visited the Monex site, I am relieved that if people like us who don’t know that much about investing in such metals have someone to depend on and in this case Monex is the name. Buying gold has been recognized for centuries as one of the best ways to preserve one’s wealth and purchasing power. Gold bullion is a unique investment. Today, there are better ways on investing in pure precious metals and you will never be left behind if you seek help and guidance from Monex, I will sure keep this in mind. We need to go for more moolah, go for gold!

Another Kenzo for Next Year

Posted by Deelytz

Do you have a favorite fragrance? Something you don’t get tired of wearing. I think most women have that. Care to share what you have in your closet? Mine is L’eau par Kenzo…

Mine is almost empty and I think I’m getting one early next year to replace it. I never run out of Kenzo even if I have other fragrances in my closet to use. When I miss it’s fragrance I just spritz a few and then I’m off to go! The husband associates me with Kenzo, he misses it’s scent once in a while too.

Loving Toms

Posted by Deelytz

I wear flats all the time, rarely you will see me wearing something in heels. I love wedges and if I want to be girlie girl, I wear them sometimes but still my heart is for flats… ballet flats, sneakers, sandals or flops, they are just the best for me so when I saw these TOMS, I know I should get one if not this year, maybe next year when we go to the United States. But hey they also have a store here in the Philippines, I was surprised and of course I will check that out soon…

I heart this pair so much, Remarque TOMS for $46

Barletta Cordones for $69

Vegan Charcoal TOMS for $49

They are beauties and I bet I will be very comfortable wearing them…

Smokey Eyes

Posted by Deelytz

Ever wonder how to get those sultry smokey eyes without creating those dark circles under eyes that make you look like a zombie who hasn’t been sleeping for years? I always want to try this. I saw a bit easy steps to follow and what to avoid in the process..

  • Start by choosing a shimmery shade in a light color, note you do not have to use black and gray. This will look too harsh against most people’s skin. Choosing browns or purples will allow you to try out a smokey eye with ease.
  • Sweep the shimmer shade across the brow bone, and on the inside corner of the eye.
  • Next take a darker color in a similar hue and blend on the inside crease of the eye from corner to corner. Using this same color follow up underneath the bottom lashes along the lash line.
  • Using a pencil liner in the same hue or in black, line the top lashes getting as close to the root of the eyelash as possible.
  • Finally, sweep on lots of black mascara on top lashes only going from the inside corners out. Choose a mascara that has the smallest wand possible to make sure you can get every lash. Make sure to get all the way to the root so there is no gap from eyeliner to mascara.

What to Avoid:

  1. Using too much shaded penciled line
  2. Overdoing the eye shadow.
  3. Creating dirty circles around your eyes. First apply the makeup then tone.

Another Run Coming

Posted by Deelytz

Yes, my best friend registered me for another race with her and her husband this November 15. PJ (Piolo to showbiz) will be there. Will I ever get the chance to chit-chat with him? Will he recognize an old friend from College? I really don’t care anymore because right now, I’m just thinking about beating my 70 minutes from my 5KM Run last October. Plastic! Of course, I want a picture with Piolo Jose. He might be furious of saying his real name here. Hahaha… If I finish faster than my 70 minutes run, do I deserve one of the nice netbooks online for Christmas? Santa are you reading this? Please give this nice, turning to be health buff lady something techie this coming Holidays. :D Anyway, here’s the Timex Poster…

KOTR Experience

Posted by Deelytz

This post is way long overdue and I will be running again on the 15th with my best friend and her husband for Timex so I better blog about this before blogging about that. Anyway, my husband was supposed to run with us but because of his small accident in biking the day before the race, we both decided that he takes a rest and not join me anymore. So, I woke up at 4am to prepare and headed to High Street for the race, the parking was crazy. It took me a while to park the Rav but I got a nice space and then met my best friend and her hubby. It was festive, humongous crowd wearing yellow. Pretty cool… Let the pictures do the talking…

The Stage (In Front of it, people were all over doing their own versions of stretching, that included us)

Then we were all instructed to proceed to the Starting Line and these are a few of the 5KMers in front of me

Some runners at my back

Then on with the program, my only mistake was that I didn’t bring water or Gatorade so after the 1KM run, I was so thirsty. We couldn’t try drinking the water freebies from the cups because it’s stored in big drums but after the 4KM run…

We gave in and drank a little from the cups given on the side street in Serendra.

This was our route, it was longer than the official route…

So as a first timer, I am mighty proud of myself because I finished the 5KM (More of 6.41KM)…

All sweaty and tired but happy with this small achievement.

This was ready in the finish line if the finishers wanted to get soaked. PASMA!

My crew! BF Mitch and her hubby, Raymond. See you again guys this November 15!

The 3 of us, sporting the same Nike LunarGlides in an Adidas Event. :D

My BF and I, partners in crime. ;)

So I grabbed the results from Adidas KOTR Facebook…

Wrong spelling but that will do, the time I think is wrong though, I timed myself and it took me longer, mine was 60:10 and my best friend’s name is not on their list. Bad trip! :(

Booked

Posted by Deelytz

D and I were talking about him looking for a job abroad, two in our family actually got great opportunities abroad by just trying their luck in finding one online and in broadsheets. Both are single but if they have families on their own, they can take them with them. So D is inspired and is actually looking for a job at philadelphia job listings while I on the other hand is actually busy with something else. What? Looking at info and guides to see this in January…

Yes, we’re booked and I’m too excited that my son will see this next year. I won’t miss this for him. He loves seeing lights and this won’t be an exemption. Oh this will be a treat and I’m too excited to see his reaction!
