Discovery

Sunday afternoon was like a sleeping frenzy to my family. After a sumptuous lunch at home, my family (Hubby, Son and I) went straight to take our afternoon nap. We were like pigs, I know :P but we were so tired that morning, waking up early to go to mass then went to the mall to do some errands. We woke up around 4 pm realizing that we were in bed for like 4 hours. Yikes! So we slept late last night because of that and had some snapping frenzy in our bedroom. So why “Discovery” for the title? Because I will be posting about my tiny little discovery while using the external flash last night.

The external flash pointing directly to the ceiling…

But if you point the external flash sideways, you will achieve this more dreamy effect…

Isn’t it great to discover little things everyday? I’m just glad I tilted the camera that night. Happy Monday!!! :P

    Mas gusto ko Litz pag nakapoint straight sa taas ang flash kasi mas gusto ko ang effect ng light sa room sa photo. pero cgro di dapat mataas masyado ang ceiling otherwise medyo madilim na. kung direct sa subject, masyado intense and effect ng light sa subject. Ano ang external flash mo? We are using SB800. Meron na yatang SB900 pero naman 24K plus. bili na lang ako ng macro lens.

    ang galing naman. ako di ko pa na-e-experiment yung flash namin. pero turo nga ni jojo, point it to the ceiling or sa wall para di harsh..

    aba nice discoevry nga ito ah.. nga lang la me external flash para ma experiment ko ito, aba tignan mo baby mo she’s looking at you when you shot the photo siguro sbi pag laki nya magiging photogarpher din sya like you hehe

    wow litzie! i’m very impressed! ang galing-galing. i’m surprised na behave na behave ang little boy mo when you take pictures of him. totally the opposite of my kids, mine will try to grab the camera each time i try to take pictures of them.

    wow litzie :) lovely photos. iba iba nga effect kung san mo ibabanda un flash. nakakatuwa no? natatawa din ako sa itsura ni dustin - 2nd to the last. gigil dun sa mouse LOL
