Love those pockets!

We’ll be backpacking for a tiny trip in Batangas soon. I am sort of excited because this will be partly work and partly out of town trip with my boys. I want a Columbia backpack because I have no plans in bringing our huge luggage but I might be brining it because I have so much to pack! This trip is actually for a shoot with my team, maybe a few only knew that I am included in a photography team which focuses on weddings in particular. All of us in the team have regular work so we try to limit our bookings because we can’t sacrifice our jobs (yet) hehehe… Anyway, about the bags, I want to get the purple one so that my husband can also carry it…

While some of my friends are busy with their birth announcements because I tell you baby boom is this year! I am busy compiling my Bag A-List which my friend Glo started. I never knew I will fall in love with bags since I am not a bag person before. But now that I consider it as a very good investment, I am willing to save some, if I can afford it, to buy designer bags that I can pass to my soon to be daughter or daughter in law. Who knows right? Anyway, here is my top list.

Are you a baghag? What’s your list?

I think I am in this age where I prefer quality over quantity. I remember being in High School or in College where I have to have a new bag or shoes everyday, I mean not new but I have to change my bag every single day so I end up buying really cheap (sometimes an imitation of a designer bag) bag just to have so much. I end up cluttering my closet with inexpensive and not so sturdy purses. Brands like Coach, Louis Vuitton, Gucci don’t appeal to me, not even Dereon because I don’t settle for quality.But just recently, I gave up all my really not so worth it bags to have more space in my closet and kept the designer ones. The ones, I can really call investment and even if you can count them in your fingers, I am happier. If, “if” I will have a daughter, I know I can pass these bags to her. Really worth it.

I am in love with Collette’s Collection by Coach. I saw these new arrivals while visiting their site and I love the style.

But today, these will be wishful thinking. Maybe I can be good the whole year then by Christmas I can even get one of these.

I’ve been eyeing the Mulberry Alexa since early this year but I just knew I couldn’t afford a bag with that price tag so I’m just enjoying all the pictures I see celebrities and friends carrying the original. Until I saw an imitation from EGG at Megamall. Actually some of the designs where changed but you can see that it was patterned from the original design…

I still have a few wishlist for Longchamp but this has to wait for I have so many LCs already. I don’t think it is proper. I will have to wait for another special occasion like my birthday or another Christmas next year to get what I want. I have to set my priorities now that my son will be going to school soon plus we need to save for a business plan maybe next year, may God help us pursue our dreams. Anyway, back to my wishlist…

Le Pliage is what it’s called. A folding tote that is made of nylon. Who would have thought that nylon can be very classy. Very lightweight and can be folded to a very small size when stored, Le Pliage is perfect for all day trips to the mall and is very durable for purposes like as a travel bag or a diaper bag. It’s waterproof material makes it very practical plus the brown leather handles, trim and the gold metal accents provide the extra touch to make it chic. So far, I have two limited editions, my friend advised me to get the limited ones for it’s more valuable than the plain ones. They have so much to offer from almost white color to darker ones with sizes of small, medium, large and extra large.

I know I need to get a very effective fast weight loss program or else I might add a few more pounds once the Christmas Season starts. But my weight is not my topic today, so disregard the picture of me and concentrate on the bag! (laughing out loud)… I’ve been wishing for this Longchamp tote for quite some time now, when friends where ordering this limited edition, I controlled myself and didn’t order even if I love the Eiffel so much! Then came the classic colors black and gold and our friend Glo said there is the Eiffel version of these colors and wow! Was I excited. But finding a seller is hard because it’s only available in France. Thanks to Joy, we found a seller in Multiply and I got my Christmas gift really early. The Gold Eiffel on a Black Canvass… Really classy!
