My husband was browsing a few lg tvs last night, he was thinking of putting one in our bedroom, he wants this huge tv in size 50 and I was saying, “he’s crazy”. First, our bedroom is small and a huge tv will be painful to the eyes and two, I’m still hesitant to put a television in our room, I don’t want our son to be exposed to too much watching of television. I still think the laptop is enough for us, for now. Anyway, while I wait for him, I did a little browsing myself and some how, I regret it. Why? Well, because I can’t seem to take my mind off to thinking of purchasing this kit…

I think it’s just gorgeous! All the yummy colors that can be used for boys and girls photos! I wish for the day that I can have a spot in Peppermint’s One Little Bird CT, I just adore her creations!

My son recently had his birthday party. It was a simple party with just close friends and some relatives and why did I get a photographer to take pictures? I was first informed that my brother will be out of town for a company outing and he always takes pictures during my son’s party when my husband and I are busy with the guests and since he can’t possible take over, I’ve decided to just get a photographer. Luckily, my best friend knows someone who was willing to help us out. I actually admire his photographs long before I met him (he was my entourage partner during my best friend’s wedding), he was the one who took the pre-nup photos of my best friend and her husband and I really liked his works. He took great photos of my son during his party and I actually have favorites that I want in a separate personalized picture frame that we can display in our future homes. Photos for me are very important because more than anything it is way better than videos and I can include it in my digital scrapbooking to make it even more personalized that can last for so many generations. Like my mom who keeps so many photos, we have photographs of my grandparents who are already gone that even my son can see when he is grown up.

I recently joined a Creative Team. I am dreaming of being in this CT for quite some time now and since they have opening this month, I gathered my guts and joined.

I am very pleased to see that Fei-Fei’s Stuff is not requiring too much tasks to her members, she actually wants her members to just do 3 tasks:

1. She just wants to 1 digital scrapbooking layout for her every kit. ~This I can do very easily since I am scrapping regularly again and I love her works so I can probably even make 2-3 layouts for her kit if I don’t have a bust schedule.
2. Post to 3 galleries. I will hvae to check the galleries where I joined before because right now, I became really active to just the Oscraps gallery though I post my layouts regularly in my Flickr account.
3. Promote her designs. ~ I will definitley try my best on this though I didn’t experienced any sales jobs, I will try my best to increase her sales and for this task I need to allot time every week to be active in galleries and forums.

The new members will be announced today and I am quite nervous to know if I got in. Wish me luck!

I am making this album really fast because of the promo codes that have expiration dates from Artscow but with the work I have and too much deadline is at stake, I only made 4 layouts this week. From the looks of it, I want to make 2 layouts a day so that should be 10, not even half. Well, I have no complains with work, it is providing so much for us especially now that it’s Christmas time. Thanks to a pretty nice calendar template from Paislee Press, I have a really nice calendar that I ordered from Artscow for myself and the husband. My husband liked it so much he told me to get one set for him as well. The template is very easy to do plus I didn’t plan on putting so much in the calendar because I want my calendar to focus on the photographs. Here is a sneak peek…

Well, technically it’s just a compilation of my previous layouts and since Artscow has 2 free credits for 8×8 album in my account, I made use of it and compiled all of my Dustin layouts from years 2006 to 2008. It was a bit tiring to adjust my page sizes to go with Artscow 8×8 page template but then the credits will be wasted if I will let this pass. Anyway, the covers are the only new layouts in these albums so here they are…

I’m excited to see the actual album.

I’ve been very busy these past few months, work has been very good to me, blessings are pouring which is why in one way or another we want to share our blessings to our love ones, hence some small gifts to friends and sharing our special day in a nice hotel with my family this December, just a simple thanksgiving to God for all the blessings. Anyway, it’s also the reason why I haven’t gone to the gym because I have to beat deadlines almost every week so my exercising suffers, I think I should just rely and browse www.lipofuze.net to have help in losing weight, but the thought remains, “I am going to the gym not to lose so much weight… I go there to be healthy.” I vow to start going next week again because diet is just giving me hyper acidity and it is hard. I better just go and exercise to burn the calories.

On another note, I made another page again and it’s another minimalist page. I am sticking to my style, since it is less fuss plus it takes less of my time. I think it’s pretty. Love your own! Oh well…

To my second loved hobby, Digital Scrapbooking and I just finished an album, it’s really not a very difficult one since I just used my old photos and my old digital layouts but then again, it’s a start plus I also made a layout today…

Before I stopped making layouts, I knew my style and it’s minimalist. Simple clustered elements and photos and more of the white space. I think I will be sticking to that. I love my latest LO using, Paislee Press and One Little Bird “Storyteller” from the Oscraps.com store.
