I must admit that shopping was so overwhelming, especially if you have limited budget and the promos are endless. My brother in law told me ahead that the Memorial Day Sale will be up around May and so I actually saved a few bucks just to shop a little. We had some issues that we needed to addressed to but I don;t want to deprive myself of the shopping spree that I want to do, there is nothing quite nice for a girl like me but to do some retail therapy. My best friend and I did a little window shopping ahead and we visited a few sites like, Gap, Old Navy, Victoria’s Secret, TOMS and a few make up stores and we even made a list of what we can get. My list was very long and I knew I had to narrow it down before my brother in law contacts me. But then 2 weeks already passed and no communication with my BIL still and I thought the plans will never push through. Well, for starters he became really busy at work and that he was applying for an auto title loan which took most of his time and then he became busy planning his trip with some of his friends that he only remembered sending a message to me just today. I have no idea if I will still tell him a couple items on my list but I was, well my husband and I, were happy to know that he got his loan, I think it was very fast, only 15 minutes or less, well the vacation even took much of his time, planning their itinerary and reserving plane tickets. Well, I hope we can go and visit him next year, maybe I can do my own shopping spree there, I think the box is just enough for us and I just told him that it’s up to him, just buy anything for us.

My husband was out last week to help my father in law in his woodwork business. Since my father in law is short of people, he asked my husband to come a long for two days to install some speaker boxes he made for this mall somewhere. They also looked for some speaker stands to go along with it, it was a struggle since it is not in the line of the business but since the contractor is a friend of my father in la, they said yes to the favor, I think they ended up ordering online because they couldn’t find anything that is available anywhere. Anyway, my husband’s task is finished and the project was done perfectly. Who knew that my father in law is behind those in-house boom boxes of those speakers in some of the popular malls around. Wow!

Well, some unexpected expenses came out this month but these are the expenses that I really don’t mind because even if I know it’s out of our budget, I know it will give us comfort and fun. Let me enumerate some of them. For one, husband has his Boxie’s brake pads replaced. He was supposed to just have it fixed but I told him, that comfort and safety are important and since his car is an old school, better have important parts replaced with new ones because honestly, we don’t know how old those parts are already. Then my friend Joy linked a Cash Pinoy great deal for a Foie Gras Menu Degustation

Restaurant Cicou is a French restaurant located at San Lorenzo, Makati City. We will be using the vouchers on our Anniversary. Hubby was very excited to see the deal yesterday and I purchased it via Paypal. The plan is to take a day off from work, spend the day with our son and then have our dinner date at Cicou and maybe watch a movie after.

This is the reason why there is the 3rd unexpected expenses, yes it’s plural because it’s a whole outfit, from the top to the shoes. HAHA… I don’t have a whole outfit to wear for these kinds of fine dining dinner dates. You see, when we became 3 in the family, we only have the malls as our retreat! My best friend is convincing me to buy a little black dress, I really want one for myself but I don’t know if it’s worth it since I am a pants-kinda-girl which is why when I saw this whole getup at Forever 21, I drooled… Goodness, I hope they have this in Megamall because our Anniversary is only less than 2 weeks away and please let this be doable, I mean I hope the prices will still be reasonable, I don’t want to buy a top that is worth a thousand pesos…

I love the bag too, I wonder if I can fit all my stuff there. LOL.

I love my sister, I can talk everything to her but the one thing I enjoyed about having a sister is that I can talk about fashion any time of the day. We were talking about casual dresses and how it would be nice if she wears dresses occasionally since it is still Summer in Canada when she comes back. She scored a few nice items here and she is so excited to wear them when she comes back to where she is now based. I wish we have more time going shopping since I enjoy every minute of it even if it means that I also have to tag along a very active tot running around the mall while we pick clothes or jumping up and down inside the fitting rooms knocking at every door. It is so much fun! I will surely miss my sister.

The only sister of my mom is coming for a vacation and she is bringing my cousin, her eldest to come for a visit. They just came from a motor home trip and told me that it was an experience needing a good sam motorhome towing because the motor home they rented got conky on them, good thing my uncle was there together with their relatives so assistance wasn’t hard. I am tasked to plan their itinerary and all I have in their schedule is a The Spa and beauty salon trip, a day in Greenhills and in Mall of Asia but that about it and I’m sure by the time they arrive on April 6, the schedule will start to pile up and I will not have a hard time filling up their schedule. April will be very busy, I can see it since they will be here for 3 weeks!

An advance post for tomorrow since tomorrow I will be off from work, making that day exclusive for my Husband…
