Expensive clothing for me should be tried on first to get your money’s worth, in my opinion and yes, I think they have expensive clothing, for a middle class person that I am, a $118 stretch jeans for me is already expensive.

Summer is here and it is always hard to recover from the Holidays which is a few months before Summer in my side of the world, some friends tried losing weight from the best diet pills around, while I don’t disagree with their ways, I am scared of taking pills so I go the conventional way of losing weight and that is, I watch what I eat to fit to my summer clothes. But how can I achieve this skinny figure? I would love to swim with JCrew bathing suits next summer, look how gorgeous they are!

I am a jeans kinda girl. I love wearing jeans all the time, I usually pair them with tees, polo shirts and girly tops but sometimes, I feel the need of wearing something really girly hence, the trying so hard of wearing a dress and I get nice compliments from friends and especially my son, which is really priceless. I saw this really cute dress in Forever 21 and I am thinking if I should get it or not… Yay!

I am seeing a lot of vintage t shirts and I love those cropped tops and the vintage designs I see everywhere. But when it comes to vintage fashion, I am more into the dressy type. I find vintage clothing very girly and I think the dresses are nicer to wear if you want to go vintage but of course there could be exceptions but for inspirations I think these vintage dresses I found online are just perfect and it can be worn in certain occasions. I am not sure if I can pull through most of the vintage clothing though, I am more into the rugged and casual type but if I am to choose, I love these dresses…

Summer is in the air. Since we are living in a tropical country, getting a tan is really easy but the sun can be cruel these days and getting a sunburn is not safe anymore. A friend of mine who has a very white skin is going to Boracay next month and she is very conscious of her very white skin so she wants to get a tan and she is actually looking for the best tanning lotion around. She already tried a tanning lotion before she was not happy with the results. Anyway, speaking of Summer, I also helped her find nice swimwear and I found really cute ones from Gap.

Skinny jeans are one of the most wonderful things that’s ever invented. They flatter the body. Though some say that skinny jeans are for those with slender legs or looks better if your legs are thin or medium built, well I don’t care because I think it looks nice on me. I’m really not fat but I’m definitely not thin so anyhoo, so far I have 2 skinny jeans plus 2 jeggings which are really in right now and I want to buy a few more skinny jeans from Apple Bottom. I read somewhere that 2-4 jeans in a woman’s closet is enough, well I don’t mind adding 2 more to my wardrobe. Anyway, here is my date night outfit last night when my husband and I went to dinner and he complimented it which is also the reason why I want to buy more skinny.

Well, some unexpected expenses came out this month but these are the expenses that I really don’t mind because even if I know it’s out of our budget, I know it will give us comfort and fun. Let me enumerate some of them. For one, husband has his Boxie’s brake pads replaced. He was supposed to just have it fixed but I told him, that comfort and safety are important and since his car is an old school, better have important parts replaced with new ones because honestly, we don’t know how old those parts are already. Restaurant Cicou is a French restaurant located at San Lorenzo, Makati City. We will be using the vouchers on our Anniversary. Hubby was very excited to see the deal yesterday and I purchased it via Paypal. The plan is to take a day off from work, spend the day with our son and then have our dinner date at Cicou and maybe watch a movie after.

This is the reason why there is the 3rd unexpected expenses, yes it’s plural because it’s a whole outfit, from the top to the shoes. HAHA… I don’t have a whole outfit to wear for these kinds of fine dining dinner dates. You see, when we became 3 in the family, we only have the malls as our retreat! My best friend is convincing me to buy a little black dress, I really want one for myself but I don’t know if it’s worth it since I am a pants-kinda-girl which is why when I saw this whole getup at Forever 21, I drooled… Goodness, I hope they have this in Megamall because our Anniversary is only less than 2 weeks away and please let this be doable, I mean I hope the prices will still be reasonable, I don’t want to buy a top that is worth a thousand pesos…

I love the bag too, I wonder if I can fit all my stuff there. LOL.
