For My Hubby

Posted by Deelytz

My husband will be attending an important event this May for work and they need to wear something really formal because I think the event’s special guest will be the president and I have no idea how I can help him. He talked to a friend of his and they might rent a suit somewhere but I think the rental store told them that they will be needing their own cufflinks for the suit so thank goodness, I only have the task of finding one that he will like and purchase it before the event. Luckily, I know a site that sells wonderful cufflinks and he has these choices…

I actually love those mechanical cufflinks :)

Helping the Husband

Posted by Deelytz

My husband is looking for some led lights and I wasn’t sure at first why he wants those, I thought he would use it for his car or something related to that but then he told me that they have a project at work which will be needing these lights so I helped him by browsing yesterday while I had some idle time at work and I was so happy I found these for him…

His and Her in Reading

Posted by Deelytz

I love the smell of paper and I enjoy flipping through the pages and how I can use my marker to highlights phrases or sentences in the books I read, my husband is the exact opposite, he loves to read ebooks, I could never understand it, I tried reading an ebook and my head hurt from the glare. That’s me while he is wishing for a kobo wireless ereader, I want a led light bookmark for my book reading. I got my wish, while his is a little bit more expensive so we are waiting for extra money to buy his wish. Well, I think I will probably buy that for him on his birthday which is way too far. I will have time to save. ;)

His Birthday Gift

Posted by Deelytz

My husband loves PC Games but we don’t have PC at home and he usually plays PC games at work when he doesn’t have anything to do which is not quite often that is why he misses playing most of the time so he usually uses my iphone to play sometimes but he gets tired of the small screen so I thought of giving him something nice on his birthday, something that I can afford with the help of a friend from Singapore. Anyway, I am just lucky that this offer came in the right time because next month is my husband’s birthday month. We got it last Saturday…

Fighting Old Age

Posted by Deelytz

My husband is getting conscious of his face. He looked at his photos recently and noticed that he is forming wrinkles around his eyes. He is actually planning to get Prevage for himself. I don’t think he needs one but he is convinced that he needs it and I don’t think I can do anything to convince him to delay his plans. There are only two concerns he has on his looks, the wrinkles and hair. Oh well, of all people I should understand how he feels since I, myself is so conscious of how I looked ever since I got acne during College. He has been reading reviews and been going to forums about fighting wrinkles and I think he will make the purchase in no time.

Started Going to The Gym

Posted by Deelytz

… AGAIN! And I vow to do that every week. 2011 is the year of saving money and keeping myself fit for myself and my family. I just hope I can convince my husband to come along every Tuesdays and Thursdays. His tummy is growing big already and in no time he will be wishing for the best fat burners in town. He seldom listens to my advices, thinking that I’m just being pushy but since he is just a year younger than me, he will also be 40 soon and we need to shape up. Yesterday, I came to the gym and was convincing him to come along but he just drove me there and picked me up after. It’s just an hour of workout I hope he won’t get too lazy tomorrow to tag along. It will never be of any use if I am healthy and he is not, because we are a couple and we should do this together as well.

Unexpected Expenses

Posted by Deelytz

Well, some unexpected expenses came out this month but these are the expenses that I really don’t mind because even if I know it’s out of our budget, I know it will give us comfort and fun. Let me enumerate some of them. For one, husband has his Boxie’s brake pads replaced. He was supposed to just have it fixed but I told him, that comfort and safety are important and since his car is an old school, better have important parts replaced with new ones because honestly, we don’t know how old those parts are already. Then my friend Joy linked a Cash Pinoy great deal for a Foie Gras Menu Degustation

Dinner Date

Restaurant Cicou is a French restaurant located at San Lorenzo, Makati City. We will be using the vouchers on our Anniversary. Hubby was very excited to see the deal yesterday and I purchased it via Paypal. The plan is to take a day off from work, spend the day with our son and then have our dinner date at Cicou and maybe watch a movie after.

This is the reason why there is the 3rd unexpected expenses, yes it’s plural because it’s a whole outfit, from the top to the shoes. HAHA… I don’t have a whole outfit to wear for these kinds of fine dining dinner dates. You see, when we became 3 in the family, we only have the malls as our retreat! My best friend is convincing me to buy a little black dress, I really want one for myself but I don’t know if it’s worth it since I am a pants-kinda-girl which is why when I saw this whole getup at Forever 21, I drooled… Goodness, I hope they have this in Megamall because our Anniversary is only less than 2 weeks away and please let this be doable, I mean I hope the prices will still be reasonable, I don’t want to buy a top that is worth a thousand pesos…

I WANT

I love the bag too, I wonder if I can fit all my stuff there. LOL.

My Eclipse Experience

Posted by Deelytz

It was a spur of the moment thing. We planned to watch on a weekend but our schedule didn’t permit us so when I saw a chance I asked my husband if we can watch it. He told me to check Greenbelt’s sched and Eastwood as well but we chose to go to Eastwood because it’s closer to our workplace. We only had 2 choices, watch the 6:40pm at Ultra 7 or the 7:30 screening in a regular cinema. Hubby wants to try Ultra 7, I want to try My Thai Kitchen instead then watch at Cinema 6 but my husband won. So off we spent more with just the bottomless soda and popcorn for dinner. We bought tickets at 6pm and killed time separately…

Hubby spent time here…

and while waiting for him I sat outside Timezone reading this…

and by exactly 6:40, we went inside…

I wasn’t able to take pictures because it’s not allowed but my goodness they have a butler. Just raise your hand and a butler comes to you to take your orders of popcorn and drinks. Popcorn was of course too salty because I want the Barbecue flavor but what I enjoyed the most was this…

Lazy boys! They’re too comfy, I had to sit straight because I might doze off while watching some of the boring scenes of the movie. But Edward is still hot for me and I still enjoyed Eclipse even if this time I had to watch it with my boy instead of my Twilight girls!

It will take us a while before we watch another movie again. This movie date was so expensive for me and definitely not worth it for regular dates. It’s nice we have to go there watching Eclipse or I will be complaining to hubby for the expenses. HAHAHA. ;)

Ultra 7 on VDay

Posted by Deelytz

Today, watching a movie in a theater is already considered as special date for me and my husband. We used to watch movies all the time when we were still dating but when we had our son, we rarely watch in a theater. So we’ve decided to get the feel of seating on a nice home theater seating while eating endless buckets of popcorn and sipping our favorite sodas on Valentine’s Day. We are watching a movie inside this 60-seater cinema…

Ultra 7 in Eastwood Libis…

Quote from Azrael’s Merryland Blog post:

The good thing in Ultra 7 Cinema is that the price of P400 for 1 person is entitled to have an unlimited pop corns and drinks. They have 2 flavors of pop corns, cheese and barbeque.

And if you want to refill your food and drinks, all you have to do is raise your hand and a butler will approach you in your seat.

After which we are planning a simple dinner in a restaurant in Eastwood as well. A rush date on a Friday night before we head home to our little angel. :D

Some Serious Techie Shopping

Posted by Deelytz

We are heading to Greenhills today. My husband asked me to help him look for a reliable barcode scanner, his boss asked him to look for their office. One of their scanners conked out just in the middle of work yesterday and since my husband is their IT, they rely on his skills in looking for a replacement because they couldn’t contact their previous supplier. He will be buying ink jet for their printers as well so this will be my chance to look for a possible gift for him on Valentine’s Day. I hope I can see something inexpensive but something special for my techie guy!
