A friend of mine makes jewelry. For the longest time, I want to try making jewelry but for some reason I can’t think of a way to buy the materials and when I get the chance, money is lacking. I am thinking of starting a new hobby while my longest hobby is in hibernation because I am having problems with my EHD and I am still looking for extra money to buy a new external drive but starting a new hobby is not easy as well because you also need money to buy the materials you need. But I am keeping in mind the jewelry making once I get the extra moolah and extra time, I hope I find that soon because I can also sell these jewelries to friends just like what my friend is doing, she is a housewife by the way and really earns enough from this hobby. Lucrative stuff, if you ask me!

Hubby gave a solitaire and then he decided he wanted a bigger stone for me after getting married, I didn’t want to disregard the old stone so I just asked the jeweler to get a little bigger stone for the center and get another stone with same size as the original stone from the original E-ring. I got my 3-stone engagement ring, Hubby wasn’t happy, he wanted a bigger stone for the center, I am most content even with the first one. Anyway, I feel like I neglect taking care of our rings especially the engagement ring that is quite eeky. My husband once told me that, you need to learn how to care for your engagement ring because the luster is gone. I think he is right and I will be reading about it, asap.

A friend at work is selling accessories and I am really tempted to buy from her on a Monday. I actually have a belief not to start my work week purchasing stuff or I will be spending the whole week. Oh well, I think it was a great reason not to spend money but her accessories are really pretty. She made it herself and I admire her artistry. She just buys jewelry making supplies and makes everything during her free time and since her kids are all grown up now, she has time during the weekends too. She told me it is a very lucrative small business but she has to be sure her stuff are all posted online as well so that it can be bought in no time. So far she is doing really well and I bet she will come a long way, her creativity is her bed and butter.

A friend of mine at work is wearing a stunning diamond ring and I can’t help myself but ask about it because it is a bit huge plus it really is sparkling. Turns out that is not actually a diamond but she bought it online from a website that has gorgeous cubic zirconia rings. Her husband is in abroad so he asked her what she wants on her birthday so she just asked for that particular ring and the jewelry lover that I am, I visited the site and look for some nice pieces in particular and saw these…

Really gorgeous right? I wish I have the money to even buy these cubic zirconian pieces.

Got my very first Etsy purchases. Well, I already purchased Etsy items before but usually they were given as gifts to an online friend and her daughter but now I’ve decided to buy something for myself and I thought of buying some earrings that I can wear with my casual clothes.

They came in a native small green pouch and nice wrapped in linen paper. I’m just happy with my very first purchases.

I’m not much into earrings. You will always find me wearing my white south sea pearls all the time. I don’t mind it wearing over and over again, I feel comfortable wearing them but when I was etsy shopping with Jacq last week and remembered buying her a little gift from KimBDesigns at etsy, I think last year, I thought of asking her how were the earrings and she told me they are still pretty so I thought maybe I should buy myself from Kim again. Really nice investment if the quality doesn’t change over time right? I’m very particular with jewelries and I think they are worth it. She is a nice lady and I think I will consider these as my early Christmas Present for myself… See my prospects here…
