I’ve been playing with my eyes lately but I end up just putting eyeliner and some highlighter in the inner corners of my eyes and erasing the eye shadows I put on my lids just because I don’t think I can pull off my make up. I have yet to find products that will suit my style plus I really want to concentrate on making my skin not flawless but pimple free, at least. Anyway, I found another make up/ style guru to follow and I think I love her style especially how she does her eyes. I hope I can pull this off.

As I was searching for foundations that can be used with acne prone skin, I came across this astounding video of a model with acne skin but manages to look great in real life and photographs with make up, I must admit, I wasn’t expecting her skin to be with so much acne, she’s really good and mastered in covering her acne. I completely understand where her emotions are coming from when her voice sounded a bit shaky, I had acne skin and though my face improved so much through these years, it left scars that will be a forever reminder. I did mentioned here that I bought an eyeshadow primer to enhance my eye make up and though I am really scared of using dark colors, I think the primer helped in really enhancing the color of the eyeshadow I used. I am using MAC’s eyeshadow palette that my Aunt gave me when she came for a vacation here from Illinois. Anyway, I promised to try using darker colors next time to see how effective the eyeshadow primer is, but so far this eye make up lasted for 5 hours, not bad right?

My New Red Lipstick

My Dad went to the United States for a short vacation. He needed to use his Visa before it expires and so he stayed with his sister in South Pasadena and had a grand time going to the casinos and shopping. He brought me and eyeliner which I really love plus a red lipstick as to my request. I dunno if I made the right decision of getting the Lancome Red Haute instead of the MAC Russian Red but still red lips make me really conscious, I’m not quite sure if it looks good on me. Anyway the reason why I got the Red Haute is that Michelle Phan totally sell it to me. Damn why does it looked so nice on her? Here’s her video. The swatch looks like this.

My freckles are going haywire nowadays, it may not be very obvious in photos but in person sadly they are very noticeable. Sometimes I get very uncomfortable talking to people because of it. I was used to my very flawless face when I was in high school and these freckles are driving me crazy sometimes. Thank God for sisters, my sister’s skin is very sensitive and her skin agreed on Clinique so there is a chance that my skin will not react from it. She let me tried her sunblock and so far I have no reactions from it. I will definitely wait for Clinique’s Sale so I can get a hold of this…

It so hot in the Philippines today, I sweat even by sitting on my chair. It is really oven like I tell you. Most often that not, I feel like a slob, icky and dirty all over. Now I am once in awhile getting acne that I need a really effective best acne wash. Why a wash? I hate putting anything on my face nowadays that it is so freaking hot outside and even indoors. It will be more icky and I want to feel fresh and clean. After which I will use the MAC powder to eliminate greasiness. We’ll see what we can do, I might order online where it is cheaper.
