I’ve been searching for some cowboy hats for my friend’s nephew. She particularly requested a white hat for him and she asked me to look for one because she is so busy with her new work that she can’t go online. Her time usually takes her away from the computer at work and when at home, she attends to her husband and his 2 year-old son and since she knows I do a lot of online browsing, she asked me to find the hat that the kid will wear to a Cowboy Themed Party on the first week of May. Gone are the days of simple parties, I found parties these days have themes and they go very glamorously. So as early as now, I am already thinking of what to pull off on my son’s 7th birthday which is 2 years away. Of course, it will be simple but still I want it to be really memorable to guests especially to our son.

I went to  tradeshow last week and saw some nice tradeshow giveaways that got me thinking about my son’s party giveaways for March. I am not busy planning for his party which is also a slash of my birthday celebration since we’ll both celebrate our birthday on the same month. I talked to my mom and she will help me with the caterer, she knows the owner so I will get a discount, then I will definitely get a party host/clown that will entertain the kids with some games as well and that’s it, if the budget will not exceed, I will probably get an ice cream cart for the kids and the kids at heart, we’ll see. I told my mom about the loots and she is thinking of us coming by to Divisoria for some shopping treat since she wants to visit the place and wants to buy a couple of stuff but doesn’t have anybody to come with her and since I have a reason to go there, she wants to tag along. I might consider, I will have to ask a friend for some tips.

My son will be celebrating his 4th birthday soon and I am planning to throw a simple party at home but unlike last year, I am taking extra effort in preparing for this year. As early as now I am telling my husband that he is tasked to print our son’s invites. He was suggesting the store which did some post card printing for them but I am on a very tight budget and since the guests will not be too many, so are the invites. I’m actually looking for invites that I can get ideas from, since I have no idea what is nice for a car themed party invitations and I saw some pretty cute ones on Ebay.

My skills will definitely be tested.

Invitation Halloween Party

We all know that Halloween is coming up in a few months time. Aside from the trick or treating, dressing up in scary, funny and sexy outfits is one of the highlights of a Halloween party. A lot of offices and companies will be holding a Halloween party for sure. Backtrack a few years ago, Halloween is not really celebrated in our country but today it is a BIG thing. I will be very glad to organize a Halloween party at work. For one I already have a source for all the Halloween Party Invitations that we need to give. If I will choose a theme, I want it to be a Fantasy Land theme. Being scary and all is not so amuzing to me excpet it will be all those cute stuff like a pumpkin costume. Making specific information and keeping a Halloween invitation pretty will excite my colleagues at work, it has been a long time of not partying at work. Usually we only have Christmas parties. I should be particular with the wordings though because my boss is a military man who is actually particular with that, great thing that at Card Shoppe they have unique and exclusive designs which includes the appropriate wordings for every occasion plus they also ship for free.
