In my small family, the three of us love gadgets. Well my husband in particular are into techie stuff. If we have the means to maybe buy those uber techie gadgets, maybe he will not hesitate to purchase every latest technology. I don’t want to say we are techie addicts since we can leave the gadgets when needed plus we had days when we lasted without laptops or going online but imagine those people who are in any form of addiction. I bet it is very hard and the healing process is very painful. I have a colleague who had a son who was an addiction and if he was still living, I bet the non 12 step program of MalibuHorizon.com will work on him. The youth today are more susceptible with these addictions, parents should know the very best for them, it is always hard for the family to deal with such, I should know, I saw that to my colleague’s family.

Today I turn 33. I’m not ashamed of it, I always think that age is always just a number. No matter how I worry about my skin and those frequent visits at www.wrinkleserums.org because I want to take care of my face as much as I can, I’m happy I’ve grown to love myself now that I’m at this age. I love my life, I did a few things that I regret doing when I was younger but that’s youth, careless and impulsive. I also made powerful and life changing decisions that I am thankful for and at 33, I know I’m getting there, hand in hand with the only man I love all my life with the strength that my son gives me everyday, with my family who truly believes in me and a few friends but who I can proudly say are true to me. I consider myself rich, even if I don’t still have a million bucks in the bank… with my love ones surrounding me, I’m definitely a millionaire already.

Thank you Lord for all the blessings. Life is so wonderful and thank you so much! This day I pray that You continue to bless me and my love ones the best of health, happiness and safety. That we experience life fully! That You be with each one of us every single day to guide us to become better individuals.

I pray that I continue to be a loving wife to my husband, a nurturing mother to my son, a thoughtful daughter to my parents and a caring sister to my siblings and the rest of my family. Let me be a very trustworthy friend and just be a better person to each person I meet. Thank you Lord, the praises are all for You! Amen.

I’m back to my old job today after an extended Holiday yesterday because my son’s Nanny just arrived from her vacation in the afternoon. This blog became a shopping blog already and since I vowed to save more this new year, nothing will stop me from window shopping online so as usual I will be posting about shopping, will do my best to share the latest promos and events if anyone of you are still interested. As you can see, spending will stop but me being a girl won’t and nothing will stop me from getting some eye candies. Wish me luck? Nah! I’m determined and I will make it happen. 2010 is the year of making things happen. In God, we trust!

Have you been thinking of how your life has been this year? Will you be standing proud come 2010 and can proudly say, I accomplished a lot not just money wise but more on the deeper side of the aspects in your life?
