My President
May 10 is only 3 days away and I must admit a few weeks ago, my heart and mind are torn between 2 presidentiables (but unlike Gordon, I know Gibo’s personality).
Why?
Well, I personally don’t know him though my Dad knows him (their both Honorary Members of PMA Class 76) and Daddy is campaigning for him in his own little way. I met him once, when I came with my parents in Boracay and my Dad introduced me to him, his wife and their son when we bumped into him at Station 2, year 2004. My Dad doesn’t see him often, my husband got even closer to him since he worked for him when he was the Secretary of National Defense for almost 3 years. Up until today, hubby is sometimes on call to do some of the techie work for Gibo. Gibo calls hubby the “Computer Boy”, and since hubby works for him I asked for an honest reply to my question if he really thinks Gibo is fit for presidency… he answered, “I will not be supporting him if I think that he is not the right guy, besides he will never know, he’s not the SND anymore but I believe in him and I’ve seen how he works and he is a dedicated man with character plus he is a nice guy.”, this statement made me even more sure of my decision.
I am making this choice because I know we have a chance of making it when he wins this election.

There are so many great articles and blog posts written about him and I must admit, I don’t know if I can put up something here that is worth reading and I have no plans to bicker with the other voters who hate my choice, everybody is entitled to their own decision and I believe I’m making the right choice because before I came up with this decision, I watched videos of forums and debates, read their profiles and thought of it well and I think therefore I am for G1BO.

Gibo is fit to be a leader, he is born to be one and I believe that he can start a brighter future for our country. This will not happen overnight, the realization is there. But it is this time to start, we have this chance, let us make a clear vote and move forward.
“It’s time we put political bickering in the back alley. As president, you have to have the ability to work with even your strongest political opponent. If we are able to get through this election without division, if we are able to carry this election on positive notes, that’s a very important thing we will have achieved. You’ll have to lead after you win. You have to get the people positive and upbeat to follow you. Having started a negative campaign, you start your administration with a division that’s probably incurable. That’s not the way to go, not the way I want my administration to start.”
