Customized Stuff

Posted by Deelytz

Vacation is here and just last week my son started his summer vacation! Yes, we had a busy week because of his birthday party and his moving up day to Junior Kinder. I was so busy juggling work, sidelines and preparing his party these past few days that I wasn’t able to blog so much about it and I forgot to blog how pretty the customized notepads I ordered. I love everything customized as gift, it started with customized mugs that my son gave for Christmas to his teachers and then these notepads as souvenirs for his teachers on his birthday and maybe I might give customized t-shirts as gifts next time. We’ll see! Anyway here are the notepads…

Teachers' Notepads

And while at it, I also ordered ours…

Our Notepads

They are so pretty right?

Stylish Bell Helmets

Posted by Deelytz

My father in law rides a motorcycle and as much as I wish that he stops because he’s a senior and I really don’t like motorcycles because I think those are dangerous, he is used to that and he thinks it’s convenient plus I knew him riding motorcycles for ages already so why will I intrude anyway. So what better way but to just gift him with safety gears like the bell helmets that he is used to wearing. My husband and I thought of giving him one, something that is stylish and of course, durable and will really protect him and I found these…

Bell Star Solid Helmet

Bell Star Black Beauty Helmet

Bell Revolver Yellow Helmet

I am liking the first one though the yellow helmet will be nice too for safety reasons of driving at night time.

Hectic Tuesday

Posted by Deelytz

I was on leave yesterday so I was already expecting so much work when I come back today. I’ve done a couple of accomplished tasks already (insert proud grin) and only half of the day is done. I’m just glad that a friend at work gave me some packing list envelopes when I need them for some reports that I need to submit at the admin office, I honestly didn’t know what these envelopes are, it would have taken so much of my time looking for it if my friend didn’t have it. Then I had to travel to pick up my son in school, it was scorching hot outside and it was a bit hard to travel. Now, it’s rest time and I will be back to work in a few minutes. WHEW for today, indeed!

For Work and Some Updates

Posted by Deelytz

A lot of you know that I work in a hospital as a doctor and one of my med carts in the office broke and so I had to request for a replacement since the cart cannot function anymore and the office needs one for storage. I applied for a request today and hopefully they will put action by next week and have it replaced by then. Right now, the papers and some medical stuff have to sit on top of the extra office table that we have in the office. I am planning to clean up and organize the office soon.

I’ve been busy too for a career change. Well, I will still be working in the same field and same office but hopefully praying for a career growth soon. I guess, it’s about time and I hope God guides me through this. Papers need to be filed plus I need to organize so much when I came back from my leave, not having the internet access for 2 days helped and now that everything is back to normal, I got internet again and I can relax and surf online plus blog. I miss blogging!

Redecorating the Kitchen

Posted by Deelytz

My mom wants to put some rustic bar stools by the kitchen counter. I suggested that she hires an interior designer to help her decide which furniture to keep and which to remove and I think she needs professional opinion to redecorate the whole kitchen. My mom tends to over-redecorate places in their house and I hope she takes my suggestion. Anyway, I really don’t think the kitchen needs total redecoration but a little addition of nice tools will do. I actually saw really cool tools from a website and I will show these to my mom.

Long Weekend

Posted by Deelytz

I am spending my long weekend at home. My husband has an ankle injury from playing basketball last Thursday and he couldn’t walk too long so malling is never an option. I had plans listed for this long weekend but everything was cancelled because of it so here I am blogging my heart out to kill boredom while my boys are watching movies beside me. My friend on the other hand YMed me last night and told me that her weekend is just job searching all the way looking for nice Network Architect Jobs she can find because she has plans of leaving her current job. I find it wise. She has been working her butt off with this current job and no promotion for her, some of her colleagues even took credit to some works she did. I could never work in a company where colleagues are mostly cheaters. I hope she finds a better job because nice women like her deserves better. Anyway, I might be meeting her for coffee tomorrow afternoon, I will have time to myself tomorrow. Yey!

Talk with Some Professionals

Posted by Deelytz

I had a talk with some colleagues here at work early this morning. We just came in from a long 4 day weekend and everybody was still in a holiday mood that we all felt lazy to get our butts to work and had this serious conversation about making our jobs important and performing it well since there are so much health care providers like us who are jobless right now and are in search for a very reputable Healthcare Specialists Jobs to support their lifestyle and their families.

I am very grateful of my job, though I have taken into consideration of quitting it, if the need arises like choosing between taking care of my son (for example his nanny leaves us) or my job, I will definitely choose the first over the latter. But as for now that the nanny is still with us and my parents help us in taking care of DS in situations where we had to stay a bit longer at work, I am so grateful that I have a less-stressful job at hand, that I can still do my online work while I am on the job. I can multitask, like being a mother attending short meetings or programs in school after asking permission to our very nice supervisor and then going back to the hospital and being an Optometrist again. Work is a struggle but I am grateful because I have work, I have something to help my husband support our little family. Thank you God.

Talk from A Friend

Posted by Deelytz

I have a friend who works in an insurance company and he has been encouraging me to get insurance from him. As much as I want to do that, additional expenses these days are impossible. A couple of my friends have been talking about insurances as well and even if I want to butt in and talked about it, I have nothing to say because we are not insured and we really on health benefits we get from the government which is not much considering we still go to private hospitals when needed. I guess this is something we have to consider when we are done with all these important expenses, even for just our annual lab tests, I want us to have insurance so we won’t worry about our routine check up every year.

Heightened Security Alert

Posted by Deelytz

The camp’s soldiers are sporting new gadgets around, I was surprised to see them carrying these stuff when they are guarding the gates of the camp. They got the the best metal detectors to secure the camp. I lived in a camp since I was a child, my Dad retired as a General and now I am working inside a camp for nearly 12 years now and it is the first time I saw the military police carry metal detectors, I guess they don’t rely on their keen vision to search for items of possible threat. Anyway, since then I feel safer to live inside a camp, we used to just leave the cars unlocked and nothing is lost after a day of leaving it unlocked. I’m sure everybody is happy with the camps purchase of new gadgets. Way to go!

Hectic Month

Posted by Deelytz

Month of May is a very hectic month, it is only the 6th of May and a lot is happening already, not to mention I am still looking for some cheap life insurance that a friend asked me to help her with, then I have more itinerary and to do list this month that I can’t keep up. May 2, was the start of something “private” a family matter that I can’t blog, it was very successful, it will still continue until it is really time to stop. Then I will be having a brand new tomorrow, I am quite nervous but a friend told me to be “fearless” and just trust in His providence. I hope I can do well. Then there’s another date on the 13th, then there is an important meeting on the 16th and 21st. My goodness, I still need to buy my son’s schools supplies. Busy May, I can’t wait for June, or maybe June will be busier? Oh well, I just pray for energy and good health while dealing with these life matters. I thank God for everyday.
